Founded in 1986, the Abita Brewing Company is nestled in the piney woods 30 miles north of New Orleans. They brew over 151,000 barrels of beer in their state-of-the-art brewing facility. Their lagers and ales are brewed in small batches, hand-crafted by a team of dedicated workers with only the highest ideals of quality. In Abita Springs, they are blessed with the purest of water. Drawn from their deep wells, their pristine water is not altered in any way. This pride, along with Abita’s brewing process, is what creates their great brews.
