A heavy dose of rye breathes new life into this other-worldly strong ale.  Supple spice and barley sweetness strike a balance in the young beer before its enlightenment in Heaven Hill Rye Whiskey barrels.  Ethereal waves of dark fruit and vanilla ascend from the depths as the elixir warms while the rye character lends a stunningly silky mouth feel.  Perhaps it's a doorway to an existential awakening, or maybe it's just a damned fine beer.
